Challenges

One of the best ways to improve your photographic skills is through lots of practice. Practice helps to hone your skills so that using your camera becomes second nature. Even better is practice that comes through shooting subjects that may be outside of your personal preferences or comfort zone. We like to encourage our members to explore that sort of practice by setting up monthly challenges in which our members can participate. Whether you prefer nature, people, architecture or still lifes, understanding how to use your camera in a multitude of situations can only serve to make you a stronger photographer. Below are a list of this year’s challenges.

The themes for the monthly challenges can be interpreted by the photographer, as long as the photo clearly fits the theme.
